A Hot Latino to play Gabriel the Vampire

Oh boy, I was totally excited when I heard Puerto Rican singer, Chayanne, will be playing Gabriel, a tormented 300-year-old vampire, in the upcoming vampire romance mini-series, Gabriel: Amor Inmortal. Yes, that's him in the pic alright. *wg* Doesn't he look dark, dangerous, and oh-so deliciously sexy? It's okay, chicas. Take a moment to drool. (I'm doing some drooling of my own.) *winks* Gabriel was shot on location in Miami, Puerto Rico, Rome and Venice. Here's the story: "Gabriel," the first high-definition miniseries ever produced for Spanish-language audiences, is a poignant love story of reincarnation, revenge and redemption, set against today’s neo-Gothic underworld of vampirism and the occult. A tale filled with suspense, romance and melodrama, the series centers on Gabriel (Chayanne), a modern day vampire who is in search of the redemption of his soul through his love for a woman. Each episode will keep viewers on the edge of their seats with surprising and shocking plot twists to this love story between a handsome vampire hero, Gabriel, and Eva, the woman he loves.
